Indiana Chamber of Commerce to host Workers’ Compensation Conference focused on financial savings and workplace safety

Indianapolis, Indiana – Businesses across Indiana will have an opportunity to gain valuable insights into managing workers’ compensation costs and ensuring compliance at the 2025 Indiana Workers’ Compensation Conference. The event, hosted by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for April 23 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, with an option for virtual attendance.

The conference aims to address the financial burden of workplace injuries, which can amount to approximately $40,000 per incident when considering medical expenses, lost wages, and productivity declines. By equipping businesses with strategies to prevent injuries and maintain lower premium rates, the event seeks to help employers navigate the complexities of workers’ compensation laws and cost management.

The conference, presented by the law firm Kightlinger & Gray, LLP, will cover a range of key topics, including managing experience modification factors to optimize insurance premiums, understanding and correctly filing state forms, handling workers’ compensation claims from initial injury to litigation, and addressing mental and emotional barriers to recovery. Attendees will also learn best practices for crafting effective employee handbooks and navigating real-life case studies in workers’ compensation claims.
