Monroe County, Indiana – The Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools and the Kiwanis Club of South-Central Indiana are joining forces for an exciting event that promises fun, entertainment, and a great cause. The annual Duck Race is set to bring the community together while raising funds to support local children.
This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone. Attendees can enjoy live music from talented student groups, as well as performances by Audrey Clampitt, Colonel Angus, and Hank Ruff. Kids and adults alike can take part in a variety of activities, including the 500-Minute Reading Challenge, which encourages a love for reading among young participants.

Food lovers won’t be disappointed, as delicious food vendors will be on-site, offering a variety of tasty treats. Car enthusiasts can also check out the exciting JEEP Show, showcasing unique and impressive vehicles.
The highlight of the event, of course, is the thrilling duck race. Participants can adopt rubber ducks, which will race down the watercourse in several heats before the grand finale. The lucky grand-prize winner will receive $2,500, and every duck entered has a shot at an incredible $50,000 prize.
