Indianapolis, Indiana – Two Hoosiers are approaching the deadline to claim $50,000 Powerball prizes, and officials are urging players to check their tickets before it’s too late. The winning tickets, each matching four white balls plus the Powerball, were purchased in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne last year.

The first ticket was purchased at Indy Mart, located at 3005 E. 10th St. in Indianapolis, for the August 30, 2025, drawing. That ticket matches the winning numbers 3, 18, 22, 27, and 33, with a Powerball of 17. Players have until 4:30 p.m. ET on February 26, 2026, to claim their prize at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.

The second ticket was purchased at Lassus Handy Dandy #46, located at 8830 Coldwater Rd. in Fort Wayne, for the September 6, 2025, drawing. The winning numbers for that drawing were 11, 23, 44, 61, and 62, with a Powerball of 17. This ticket must be claimed by 4:30 p.m. ET on March 5, 2026, also at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office in Indianapolis.

Lottery officials emphasized that ticket holders should locate their tickets and keep them in a secure place until the prize can be claimed. “Winners should make sure their ticket is safe, consider meeting with a financial advisor, and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service for instructions,” said a lottery spokesperson. Players can reach the Hoosier Lottery customer service line at 1-800-955-6886 for guidance on claiming their prize.

Each of these $50,000 prizes represents a significant opportunity for the lucky ticket holders. While they are not the jackpot, matching four white balls plus the Powerball is still a major win that can provide financial relief or the chance to fund new opportunities.

The deadlines serve as a reminder that lottery prizes have firm expiration dates. Unclaimed tickets are forfeited once the deadline passes, and the funds typically revert to the state’s education or lottery programs, depending on state rules.

The Hoosier Lottery encourages all players to double-check tickets from past drawings, particularly for prizes of significant value. Many unclaimed tickets end up forgotten in drawers or purses, leaving winnings uncollected.

For residents who may have purchased tickets at Indy Mart in Indianapolis or Lassus Handy Dandy in Fort Wayne during the August 30 or September 6 drawings, now is the time to act. Ensuring the ticket is intact, keeping it safe, and claiming it before the February 26 or March 5 deadlines could turn a simple piece of paper into a $50,000 prize.

As the expiration dates approach, lottery officials are reminding players that taking prompt action and following proper claim procedures will ensure they can collect their winnings without issue.
