Ivy Tech Community College to host open house for semiconductor program on July 31 at the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences

Bloomington, Indiana – Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington is inviting the public to attend an exciting Open House event for its semiconductor fabrication program on Thursday, July 31, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences (ICLS), located at 501 N. Profile Parkway, and is designed to give attendees an opportunity to learn about the growing field of microelectronics.

The Open House will provide a unique, hands-on experience for those interested in pursuing a career in the semiconductor industry. Attendees will have the chance to explore the program’s offerings and participate in interactive activities. One of the highlights will be lab sessions where guests can engage in a photo etching activity, with sessions beginning at 4:45 p.m. and again at 5:45 p.m. Additionally, visitors can experience the microelectronics industry through virtual reality technology, giving them a more immersive understanding of the field.
