Ivy Tech Community College announces exciting lineup of summer camps for kids and teens in Bloomington and Bedford this year

Bloomington, Indiana – Ivy Tech Community College is bringing an exciting array of summer camp options to families in Bloomington and Bedford, offering a diverse selection of arts, STEM, and baking experiences for kids and teens. This year, the Center for Lifelong Learning has released its 2025 lineup, which includes both long-standing favorites and fresh new opportunities for students of all ages. With registration now open, parents and guardians can explore the wide variety of camps designed to spark creativity and cultivate new skills.

One of the highlights this summer is the 15th anniversary of the Ivy Arts for Kids program, a well-established initiative providing youth arts education through two-week immersive camps. Specifically designed for rising 1st to 5th graders, the program offers a hands-on experience in ceramics, painting, crafting, and mixed media. This camp, held on the Ivy Tech Bloomington campus, is designed to foster creativity and self-expression in young minds while also providing a fun and engaging environment.

In addition to Ivy Arts for Kids, Ivy Tech Bloomington is also offering the College for Kids program, which is geared toward older children, specifically rising 6th to 12th graders. These one-week camps cover a range of topics, from fine arts to STEM, giving teens and pre-teens an opportunity to explore their interests and potentially discover new passions. Whether students are interested in diving deeper into science, technology, engineering, and math, or exploring their artistic side, these camps promise to provide something for everyone.

Meanwhile, in Bedford, the StoneGate Arts & Education Center is hosting a variety of one-week camps for rising 3rd to 8th graders. These camps will cover subjects like performing and visual arts, music, sculpting, printmaking, and painting. For families in the Bedford area, this is a fantastic opportunity to keep young minds engaged in a creative, educational environment throughout the summer months.

For teens and youth with a particular interest in film, theater, and music, the Center for Lifelong Learning has partnered with Constellation Stage & Screen to offer specialized camps. These camps, which are available to rising 1st to 12th graders, provide participants with the chance to work with professional instructors in state-of-the-art studios and performance spaces in downtown Bloomington. Whether your child is looking to explore acting, film production, or musical theater, these camps offer an immersive experience in the performing arts.

With camps scheduled throughout June and July, there are plenty of opportunities for kids and teens to get involved. Parents can visit www.ivytech.edu/CLL for more information and to register their children for these fun and educational summer programs.
