Indiana University opens registration for spring 2026 career fairs connecting employers with students seeking internships and full-time positions

Indianapolis, Indiana – Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs are inviting employers to register for the Spring 2026 Career Fairs on the Bloomington campus, offering an opportunity to engage with students seeking internships and full-time positions. The events, designed to connect organizations with motivated undergraduates and graduate students, are expected to bring together a diverse pool of talent from a variety of academic backgrounds.

The career fairs are set to provide employers with access to students who are actively preparing for professional opportunities in summer and fall 2026, or for entry-level roles following graduation between May and August 2026. According to organizers, attendees offer a “unique combination of studies, skills, and experiences who can help move your organization forward.” Students from all stages of their academic careers participate, creating a dynamic environment for employers to discover promising candidates.

One of the highlights of the spring events is the focused nature of the fairs. The industry-oriented fairs are intentionally limited to no more than 20 organizations, allowing for a more personal and engaging experience between students and employers who share specific career interests. This structure aims to foster meaningful connections and maximize the impact of each organization’s presence.

Two fairs are currently open for registration. The All Industries Career & Internship Fair will take place on February 3, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m., while the Environment Careers Focus Fair is scheduled for February 26, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. Employers can register through the university’s career engagement portal, and the registration period also includes an incentive for early participation.

“New this year we’re offering early-bird discounts! Register before December 19 to receive 25% off your registration fees,” organizers announced, encouraging companies to secure their spots well in advance.

For employers seeking more targeted recruitment, the university also provides opportunities for next-day interviews with students met at the fairs. Spaces can be reserved to facilitate one-on-one meetings, enabling employers to further assess candidates and streamline the hiring process.

In addition to participating in the fairs themselves, companies can explore additional ways to engage with students, including informational sessions, mentorship opportunities, and campus visits. University staff are available to assist in planning and coordinating these experiences to maximize organizational exposure and connection with potential hires.

The Spring 2026 Career Fairs at Indiana University promise to be a pivotal opportunity for employers to meet talented, ambitious students eager to bring their skills and knowledge into professional environments. Interested organizations are encouraged to register early, take advantage of early-bird discounts, and prepare to connect with the next generation of professionals.

“See you in the spring!” the organizers concluded, signaling an exciting season of professional networking and student engagement on the Bloomington campus.

The career fairs continue Indiana University’s longstanding commitment to bridging the gap between academic preparation and workforce readiness, providing a platform where students and employers can meet, learn, and grow together.
