Indianapolis, Indiana – Indiana Chamber members will have the chance to hear directly from key state lawmakers next month during the annual Legislative Preview, scheduled for November 17 in Indianapolis. The highly anticipated event, which will also be available virtually, comes just one day before Organization Day—the official start of preparations for Indiana’s 2026 legislative session.
The Legislative Preview is designed to give business leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders an early look at the top issues expected to shape the upcoming session. Attendees will be able to engage with legislative leaders, ask questions, and gain insight into policies that could have a direct impact on the Hoosier business community.
“This event takes place one day before Organization Day and features a panel discussion with legislative leaders on the issues in the 2026 session that will have the greatest impact on the Hoosier business community,” the Chamber announced.
The morning program begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and networking over refreshments, offering participants an informal opportunity to connect with fellow business professionals from across the state. The official program kicks off at 9 a.m. with a welcome session and a presentation of key findings from the Indiana Prosperity 2035 Report Card, which tracks the state’s progress on economic and workforce goals.
At 9:20 a.m., the Chamber will honor its Legislative Champions, recognizing lawmakers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing policies that support business growth, innovation, and workforce development in Indiana.
The highlight of the morning will come at 9:30 a.m., when a panel of top legislative leaders takes the stage for a lively and informative discussion. The panel is expected to cover a wide range of topics, including taxation, workforce development, infrastructure, and education—areas that remain central to the state’s long-term competitiveness and prosperity. Attendees will also have the chance to pose questions directly to the lawmakers.
The event will conclude at 10:30 a.m., giving participants the remainder of the morning to continue informal networking and follow up with peers and policymakers.
