Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its 61st Annual Indiana HR Conference and Expo, bringing together HR professionals from across the state for an enriching three-day event. Scheduled for May 5-7 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, the conference will feature a variety of workshops, expert speakers, and a comprehensive expo showcasing top industry products and services. Sponsored by Frost Brown Todd, this event aims to equip HR professionals with essential tools and insights to enhance their roles.

Among the keynote speakers is Austin J. Franklin, CEO and co-founder of Good-Natured Life, who will deliver the morning address on May 6. His session will focus on how HR professionals can amplify their influence and impact within their organizations. On May 7, Heather Haas, CEO of ADVISA, will take the stage with her presentation titled, “Is Your Culture Working for You or Against You?”
In addition to the keynotes, attendees can participate in workshops and sessions covering a broad range of HR topics, including leadership development, employment law, workplace inclusivity, employee well-being, and retention strategies. The conference is designed to provide valuable insights that HR professionals can apply immediately in their organizations.
One of the key highlights of the event is the presentation of the 2025 Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year Award. Nominations are currently open, with a submission deadline of March 7. The award recognizes outstanding HR professionals who have made significant contributions to their organizations over the past year. Last year’s award went to Dr. Adrienne Sims, senior vice president and chief human resources officer with IU Health.
