Indianapolis, Indiana – Indiana Governor Mike Braun today spotlighted the transformative impact of Power Up Indiana, a workforce development initiative that is helping Hoosiers gain skills, advance their careers, and contribute to the state’s growing economy. The program, designed to encourage employers to invest in their employees, has produced a wide range of success stories across multiple industries, showcasing how workforce training and upskilling can strengthen both businesses and communities.

“Power Up Indiana is proving that workforce development isn’t just good for business – it’s life-changing for Hoosiers and their families,” Gov. Braun said. “We’re proud to celebrate these success stories and the employers who are shaping a future where every Hoosier has the opportunity to build a rewarding career right here in our state.”

Power Up Indiana has enabled companies large and small to implement programs that create clear career pathways for employees. Employers such as Gaylor Electric, Hoosier Crane, Evonik, and Cook Group have used the initiative to provide workers access to industry-recognized credentials, expand skill sets, and transition into high-demand roles with competitive, sustainable wages. By focusing on employee development, these companies are not only meeting immediate business needs but are also laying the groundwork for long-term talent growth.

Other businesses, including Arcamed, Twin Springs Counseling, Endress+Hauser, and Dot Transportation, have embraced upskilling as a central part of their growth strategy. By offering training programs and career development opportunities, these employers are strengthening teams, boosting employee satisfaction, and creating a culture that values professional advancement at every stage of a worker’s career. For many employees, this investment translates into higher wages, increased job stability, and greater personal and economic mobility.
