Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is preparing to help Hoosier businesses navigate major changes coming under the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill, also known as the OB3 Act. Over the next two months, the Chamber will host a series of webinars aimed at breaking down the law’s tax and healthcare provisions so that companies can better understand their responsibilities and opportunities.
The first webinar, titled OB3: The Tax Impacts for Hoosier Business, will take place on Tuesday, September 24 at 1 p.m. Eastern. Registration is free, but advance sign-up is required to access the online session. Chamber leaders are encouraging company executives, HR professionals, and small business owners to take advantage of the opportunity to hear directly from experts.
According to the Chamber, the 60-minute briefing is designed to cut through the complexity of the legislation and provide clear, actionable steps. “In this program, thought leaders from the state and private sector will share what you need to know and provide analysis and commentary on the provisions impacting payroll, compliance and more!” the announcement noted.
Among the topics expected to be covered are payroll and compensation shifts, compliance updates to protect employers from risk, and new incentives available to smaller companies. The focus is on helping decision-makers adapt quickly, protect their organizations, and align their workforce strategies with the new rules.
The OB3 Act includes provisions that could affect everything from how wages are reported to how businesses handle healthcare costs. Chamber officials say that timely information will be essential, given the number of changes built into the law. The upcoming sessions are structured to provide not only an overview but also targeted guidance for those who need to implement changes immediately.
In addition to the September 24 webinar, the Chamber is planning more online briefings throughout the fall. Each session will feature a mix of state policy experts and private sector professionals who can translate the new regulations into practical advice for different types of businesses.
With the OB3 Act already on the books, Indiana companies face a critical moment to ensure they are compliant while also taking advantage of potential opportunities. The Chamber’s goal is to equip employers with the knowledge they need to adapt without losing momentum. “Our experts will break down the law’s complexities into actionable takeaways, helping you protect your organization and its workforce strategy,” the Chamber stated.
Businesses can find registration details on the Indiana Chamber’s website and are urged to sign up early to secure their spot.
