Indiana Chamber invites leaders from across the state to take part in the upcoming 2025 Childcare Summit focused on the future of childcare

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is inviting business and community leaders from across the state to participate in a major event aimed at shaping the future of childcare in Indiana. The 2025 Indiana Chamber Childcare Summit will take place on Monday, November 10, at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to collaborate on strategies that strengthen childcare access, affordability, and sustainability.

The full-day summit, presented in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., featuring expert presentations, interactive sessions, and roundtable discussions. Attendees will include representatives from business, government, early learning organizations, philanthropy, and nonprofit sectors — all working toward a shared goal of improving childcare opportunities for Hoosier families.

“We are bringing together leaders from across the state – business, government, early learning, nonprofits, philanthropy and community partners – for a full-day working session on the future of childcare in Indiana,” event organizers said in the announcement. The summit will explore what’s currently working in childcare, highlight best practices from around the country, and engage participants in identifying practical, collaborative solutions.

A central focus of the event will be on strengthening the childcare workforce and supporting employers who face challenges related to childcare availability for their employees. Many Indiana families continue to struggle with access to affordable, high-quality childcare — an issue that impacts both family stability and workforce participation.

Through a mix of presentations and small group discussions, participants will share ideas and examine policies that can make a measurable difference statewide. The agenda includes a registration and breakfast session at 8 a.m., followed by opening remarks at 8:30 a.m. and the start of program sessions at 8:45 a.m. A lunch and panel discussion will take place at 12 p.m., with additional sessions continuing in the afternoon. The event will conclude with closing remarks and next steps at 3:15 p.m.

“Through presentations, collaborative conversations and shared insights, we’ll work to shape policies and partnerships that improve affordability, availability and sustainability of childcare across the state,” organizers added.

The summit is free for Indiana Chamber members and invited guests, though registration is required due to limited seating. Attendees are encouraged to reserve their spot early to ensure participation in what is expected to be a dynamic and solution-driven event.

By bringing together leaders from diverse sectors, the 2025 Indiana Chamber Childcare Summit aims to spark lasting partnerships that support Indiana’s families, bolster the economy, and ensure that every child has access to the care they need to thrive.
