FARMbloomington celebrates Godzilla Weekend 2025 with themed menus and movie-inspired dining experiences

Bloomington, Indiana – Get ready, Bloomington — the king of monsters is stomping into town in a big way. FARMbloomington is throwing its full support behind the celebration of Godzilla Weekend 2025, a citywide tribute to the legendary movie creature, timed perfectly with Godzilla Day on June 27.

The excitement begins Friday at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater (BCT), where fans will gather for a screening of a classic Godzilla film. Before the show, attendees will be treated to a special introduction by Godzilla historian and scholar Beth Bredlau, setting the stage for a weekend of cinematic destruction and creature-feature nostalgia.

FARMbloomington, a longtime supporter of the BCT, is going all in on the festivities by offering a themed Godzilla Menu that promises to bring the monster mayhem to your plate. The restaurant’s renowned chef, Chantel Adcock, has crafted a unique lineup of dishes that will be available during brunch hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. In the spirit of Godzilla’s oversized influence, FARMbloomington is also launching a series of “Scary Good” dinner specials inspired by the iconic reptile. These imaginative and bold dishes won’t just be around for the weekend — they’re set to stay on the summer menu, giving fans and foodies alike a chance to enjoy the tribute all season long.

“Farm is a supporter of the BCT and we love to create fun projects together and this one is a monster!” organizers said in a statement that perfectly captures the playful tone of the event.
