Eclipse Productions brings the chilling psychological thriller Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin to the stage this October at Waldron Firebay

Bloomington, Indiana – Eclipse Productions is preparing to bring an unsettling twist to the spooky season with its latest stage production, Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin. Known for crafting chilling narratives that play with perception and fear, Levin’s work promises audiences a night of suspense and unease.

The production will be staged at the Waldron Firebay from October 17 through October 26, giving theatergoers a limited window to experience the haunting story live. Marketed as a psychological thriller, the play blurs the line between what is real and what is illusion, leaving the audience questioning every turn.

At the center of the story is a young couple who find themselves caught in a disturbing game inside an old mansion. What begins as a seemingly harmless encounter quickly unravels into a series of unsettling revelations. Each moment pulls the characters, and the audience, deeper into a world of confusion, fear, and shifting identities.

“This is not your average ghost story,” says the creative team behind the production. “Veronica’s Room explores how trust, reality, and identity can be manipulated. It’s disturbing in the best way possible and perfect for the season.”

The play’s reputation as a suspenseful and shocking piece makes it a fitting choice for Eclipse Productions, which has built a reputation for bringing bold and thought-provoking performances to the stage. By choosing Veronica’s Room, the company leans fully into the eerie atmosphere of October, offering something more psychological than supernatural.

The setting at Waldron Firebay is expected to amplify the experience. Known for its intimate stage design, the venue allows the tension of the story to feel immediate, placing the audience uncomfortably close to the unraveling drama. With its compact space and atmospheric design, every twist in the narrative will feel personal and unavoidable.

Performances are intended for mature audiences due to the disturbing nature of the story. The production team has emphasized that while the show delivers suspense and mystery, it also addresses themes that may be unsettling.

Tickets for the limited run are available online through Eclipse Productions’ official website. Theater fans looking for a chilling night out are encouraged to secure their seats early before the show’s brief engagement sells out.
