Annual Chamber Day brings businesses from across Indiana together with state legislators for networking and policy discussions

Indianapolis, Indiana – The state’s business community is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year as the Indiana Chamber of Commerce prepares to host its 2026 Chamber Day at the Statehouse on January 26. Organized in partnership with the Indiana Chamber Executives Association, the event aims to bring together businesses of all sizes, local chambers of commerce, and policymakers for a full day of networking, information-sharing, and engagement on the public policy issues that affect employers across Indiana. The day’s activities will conclude with the Chamber Day Reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, providing a more relaxed setting for attendees to connect with state legislators and government leaders.

Presented by Thompson Thrift, Chamber Day kicks off with a welcome breakfast at the Indiana Statehouse. From the very beginning, attendees will have opportunities to interact with legislative leaders, meet with state agency department heads, and gain firsthand updates on policies impacting businesses. Participants will also have the chance to visit lawmaker offices, ensuring that their concerns and perspectives are heard directly at the Statehouse. The event is designed to be especially beneficial for small business owners, who can find both practical advice and advocacy support during the sessions.

The afternoon schedule features a panel on using social media to grow small businesses—a timely topic as more companies leverage platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to reach new customers. Attendees will also celebrate excellence in Indiana business at the Best in Business Awards Luncheon, which will spotlight the TikTok Small Business of the Year and the Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana honorees. The combination of education, networking, and recognition creates a platform that highlights the diversity and innovation within the state’s business community.

This legislative session will be important for businesses on several fronts, and we’re excited to engage further with legislators during Chamber Day,” said Vanessa Green Sinders, President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. “It’s an ideal opportunity for local chambers, small businesses, employers and community leaders to have their voices heard at the Statehouse and we’re pleased to help make it happen.” Her remarks underscore the importance of timing for the event, as Chamber Day occurs near the midpoint of the relatively short Indiana General Assembly session, a period when many critical decisions affecting employers are being made.

Chamber Day offers practical benefits for attendees beyond policy engagement. Participants can make connections with other business leaders across the state, learn strategies to enhance business operations, and gain insights into new industry trends. Small business owners, in particular, can use the day to explore tools for growth, navigate regulatory challenges, and build partnerships with both peers and policymakers. By bringing all these elements together under one roof, the Chamber creates a concentrated forum for collaboration and advocacy.

Registration for Chamber Day is $99, while the Chamber Day Reception, which includes appetizers and an open bar, is also priced at $99. Attendees interested in participating in both events can register for a bundled rate of $179. Registration is open online at www.indianachamber.com/conferences, providing easy access for businesses and chamber representatives across Indiana. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for companies seeking to enhance their visibility during the event by contacting Jesse Brothers at [email protected].

The Chamber Day Reception is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company, with diamond-level sponsorship provided by TikTok, Inc., AT&T Indiana, Charter Spectrum TV/Internet/Voice, and Duke Homes, Inc. Silver-level sponsors include Apex Clean Energy, Smithville, The Corydon Group, LLC, Delta Dental of Indiana, French Lick Resort, Coca-Cola Consolidated, and Brightstar. These sponsorships not only support the event but also signal a broader commitment by major corporations to engage with local business communities and state leaders.

For attendees, Chamber Day is more than just a networking event—it is a chance to influence the policy decisions that will shape the state’s business environment for months and years to come. By connecting with legislators, learning from experts, and sharing insights with peers, participants leave the event better equipped to grow their businesses, advocate for their needs, and contribute to the ongoing economic success of Indiana.

The combination of educational programming, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding businesses makes Chamber Day a pivotal event for the state’s business ecosystem, reinforcing the vital role that local chambers and entrepreneurs play in shaping Indiana’s economic future.
