The Attorney General’s office operates IndianaUnclaimed.gov, a secure and free online portal where anyone can search for funds under their name. Residents can also text CLAIM to 46220 to see if any money is available. Those who prefer more direct communication can reach the Unclaimed Property Division by calling 1-866-462-5246 or emailing [email protected].
The program has grown significantly over the years. In 2025, the Unclaimed Property team returned more than $88 million to Hoosiers, breaking the previous record set in 2023.
