Congressman Shreve announces expanded mobile office hours to assist residents across Hancock and Marion counties

Greenwood, Indiana – Congressman Jefferson Shreve is preparing to take his constituent services team on the road once again, offering residents in Hancock and Marion Counties a direct chance to seek help with federal matters that often feel overwhelming. The mobile office hours, scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, will bring trained staff members into local communities for face-to-face conversations with Hoosiers who need assistance navigating federal agencies. The events are designed to give people easier access to guidance without requiring them to travel far or wait on long phone lines.

Residents who attend will be able to speak directly with members of Congressman Shreve’s staff about problems involving the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, the Social Security Administration, and other federal offices that play a major role in daily life. In announcing the upcoming visits, Shreve emphasized the importance of meeting people where they are. “Our mobile office hours bring constituent services directly to communities across the Sixth District,” said Congressman Shreve. “If you’re having trouble with a federal agency, my team stands ready to help.”

The first stop on December 2 will be in Hancock County. Staff members will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Greenfield City Hall Council Chambers on South State Street. This session will give local residents two full hours to raise questions, share concerns, or request assistance related to ongoing or unresolved federal cases. The aim is to ease stress for people who might be dealing with benefits delays, tax complications, or challenges obtaining important documents.

Later that day, the team will head to Marion County for an afternoon session from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Beech Grove City Hall Council Chambers on Main Street. This visit mirrors the Hancock County meeting and is intended to offer the same level of support and problem-solving. By offering two different locations on the same day, Shreve’s office hopes to meet the needs of as many Sixth District residents as possible.

For individuals who cannot make it to either session, Congressman Shreve reminds constituents that help is available throughout the week at his Greenwood district office, which operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office can also be reached by phone at (317) 399-3333 for those who prefer to call or who need assistance urgently.

With federal systems becoming increasingly complex, Shreve’s mobile office hours continue to serve as a practical tool for cutting through confusion and helping residents receive the answers and support they need. The upcoming sessions in Hancock and Marion Counties underscore his office’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible, hands-on service for Hoosiers across the district.
