Indiana lottery officials warn that the $85,000 CA$H 5 jackpot winning ticket must be claimed before November 21 or the prize will be forfeited

Indianapolis, Indiana – A CA$H 5 jackpot ticket worth $85,000 purchased earlier this year is approaching its expiration date, and the Hoosier Lottery is urging players to check their tickets immediately. The winning ticket, purchased in May at Luke 235, 2178 Ripley St. in Lake Station, matched all five numbers drawn on May 25, 2025.

The winning numbers for that drawing were 3-5-14-34-39, and the ticket holder must claim their prize no later than 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday, November 21, 2025. All Hoosier Lottery Draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing, making the upcoming deadline critical for anyone holding the winning ticket.

Hoosier Lottery officials are reminding winners to take precautions before claiming their prize. “The winning ticket should be kept in a secure place, and winners should consider meeting with a financial advisor before claiming their prize,” officials said. Winners are also encouraged to contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for detailed instructions on how to claim the prize safely.

The prize can be collected at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, 1302 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, where lottery representatives will assist winners through the claim process. Given the substantial amount of money involved, the lottery is emphasizing the importance of taking careful steps to protect the ticket and ensure a smooth claim.

CA$H 5 is one of the Hoosier Lottery’s popular draw games, offering players a 1 in 11 chance to win smaller prizes, while matching all five numbers results in significant jackpots like the current $85,000 prize. The Hoosier Lottery encourages all participants to double-check their tickets, as missing the claim deadline would forfeit the prize entirely.

This upcoming expiration serves as a reminder for lottery players across Indiana to review tickets purchased earlier this year. Lottery officials advise storing tickets safely, verifying numbers against official results, and acting promptly to claim any prizes to avoid losing a significant payout.

With the November 21 deadline quickly approaching, the Hoosier Lottery is urging anyone who purchased a ticket for the May 25 drawing to check their numbers immediately. The excitement of winning a substantial CA$H 5 jackpot is significant, but timely action is essential to ensure that the prize is claimed and enjoyed.

For more information on claiming prizes or to verify winning numbers, players can visit HoosierLottery.com or call 1-800-955-6886. The clock is ticking, and the $85,000 prize is still unclaimed — a reminder that fortune can slip away if the winning ticket isn’t acted upon in time.
